We can confirm that the Kingsway Tunnel is closed to traffic travelling from Liverpool towards Wallasey due to an ongoing incident. Traffic from Wallasey towards Liverpool is subject to a diversion onto Scotland Road as you leave the tunnel.
At around 4.05pm, reports came in of a concern for the safety of a woman near to the Liverpool entrance on Great Nelson Street.
