Police have released CCTV footage of three people they want to speak to in connection with an arson attack in Trafford.

At around 6pm on Saturday 1 May 2020, police were called by colleagues at the fire service to reports of a property on fire on Bradfield Road, Stretford.

The fire is believed to have been started a short while earlier, just before 5pm.

Emergency services attended and enquiries established that a property had been set alight and the blaze had spread to the roof of a neighbouring property.

Officers are treating this incident as arson and an investigation is underway.

No injuries have been reported, however extensive damage was caused to both properties.

No arrests have been made.

Detective Constable Rachel Di Nicola, of GMP’s Trafford district, said: “This was a deliberate act which recklessly endangered people’s lives, including children who were present in the neighbouring property at the time of the fire.

“This behaviour will absolutely not be tolerated in Greater Manchester and we are following all available lines of enquiry to identify those responsible.

“As part of our enquiries we have released CCTV footage of three individuals who we want to speak to in connection with this incident. If you recognise any of these individuals, or have any information that could help us with our investigation, please contact police as soon as possible.”
