Police were called to an incident on Welland Street, Openshaw at around 2pm on Saturday 25 March 2023.
32-year-old Zikel Bobmanuel was sadly pronounced dead at the scene by first responders and at this stage, it is believed he died as a result of gunshot wounds.
Emannuel Onasanya (DOB: 28/10/1990), of John Beeley Avenue in Manchester has been charged with murder and has been remanded into custody and will appear at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court this morning (28 March 2023).
Zikel’s family are aware of this development in the investigation and continue to be supported by specialist officers.
