Officers have arrested a teenager for possession of an offensive weapon following a stop search this weekend.
At around 9pm yesterday (4th October) officers on patrol spotted the 16 year old on Gerard’s Lane.
Here, he was searched and found carrying a lock knife and a balaclava. He was arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon and taken to custody for questioning.
He was later charged and has been released on police bail until 27th October where he will appear at Liverpool Crown Court.
