Road closures for Rock n Roll Marathon

The Rock n Roll Marathon and Half Marathon is taking place in Liverpool on Sunday 24 October and there will be road closures in place in and around the route.

There will be disruption to travel across the city with traffic management in place from 6am to 5pm.

Roads will be opened as soon as possible when the last runner has passed and when it is safe to do so.

Drivers are advised to use Queens Drive to travel across the city, and move into the city via County Road, Muirhead Avenue, West Derby Road, Prescot Road, Edge Lane, Smithdown Road and Allerton Road, and Mather Avenue on to Booker Avenue, Aigburth Hall Avenue and Aigburth Road.

Access to shops and businesses in Liverpool ONE, the Royal Albert Dock, Brunswick Business Area, Riverside Drive and Sefton Street will be maintained.
