A man has been charged following a disturbance in Hindley.

A man has been charged after 14 vehicles were damaged at a prison in Manchester.

Samuel Walker (25/05/1983) of HMP Durham has been charged with conspiracy to commit criminal damage, conveying a class b article into prison and possession of a mobile phone in prison.

Walker appeared at Teesside Magistrates Court on Tuesday 19 May 2020 via a virtual link. He will appear at a virtual court hearing at Manchester Crown Court on Tuesday 16 June 2020.

At around 6.45pm on Thursday 27 February 2020 police were called to a report of criminal damage to 14 vehicles at Strangeways prison in Manchester.
