A man has been charged following an assault in Manchester

Three men have been charged after a series of car-thefts were committed across Greater Manchester, Cheshire and Derbyshire

Creole McNamme (27/04/92) of Manor Road, Stretford is charged with assault.

He appeared at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Tuesday 5 May 2020 and was remanded in custody. He will appear at Manchester Crown Court on Wednesday 3 June 2020.

At around 11:30am on Sunday 3 May 2020, police were called by hospital staff reporting a man with serious injuries. Officers attended and established that the 35-year-old had been assaulted on Hathersage Road, Longsight at around 11am. The victim remains in hospital in a critical condition.
