Photographs of their lives in Halton have won a competition for two local residents as part of National Learning Disability Week.
Karen Foster and Rashma Hunt, who live at Thornills in Widnes, supported by Halton Borough Council’s Supported Housing Network, entered pictures of themselves taking part in activities including gardening and sport. They each won a £20 voucher, framed certificate and biscuits.
The theme of National Learning Disability Week 2023 was myth busting about living a life with a learning disability and showcasing people’s talents, and the photo competition was run by Bridgewater Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust.
