Three men arrested and suspected stolen car seized following incident in Speke

We have arrested three men and seized a suspected stolen Audi following an incident in Speke last night, Sunday 19 July.

At shortly before midnight, officers stop checked an Audi A4 on Speke Boulevard. Due to the occupants behaving suspiciously, a search was carried out and ownership for the car could not be accounted for. Three men were detained and the car seized and further enquiries will be carried out.

A 22-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent
A 24-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent and possession of cocaine
A 28-year-old man of no fixed abode was arrested on suspicion of taking a motor vehicle without consent and driving without insurance

They were all taken to police stations for questioning.
