Third person charged with murder of Warren Glover in Thatto Heath

Appeal after fatal collision in Everton

Detectives have charged a third person with the murder of Warren Glover in Thatto Heath.

Warren, 33, was assaulted at around 10.15pm on Saturday 13 June in French Street at its junction with Thompson Street in Thatto Heath. He was taken to hospital where he sadly passed away on Tuesday, 7 July.

Melissa Stubbs, 28, of Lane End Road, Manchester, has today been charged with murder and remanded in custody to appear at Liverpool Magistrates Court tomorrow, Thursday 23 July.

Peter Walker, 30, of Garth Road, Manchester and Aaron Stubbs, 30, of Lane End Road, Manchester have also been charged with murder and were both remanded to next appear next month at Liverpool Crown Court.

A 41-year-old man from Stockport, previously arrested on suspicion of Section 18 wounding with intent, has been released on conditional bail pending further enquiries.

A 54-year-old woman was also interviewed under caution earlier this month in connection with the incident, and remains under investigation.
